SHAHADAH

• Worship of one God
• Muhammad is the Servant and final Messenger of God
• The declaration of faith defines a Muslim in the Islamic Community

SALAT

• Preparing to pray by Washing of the hands, feet and face
• They are praying to talk directly to God
• Praying 5 times a day
• Facing Mecca, and putting their face on the ground

Zakaat
- Giving to the Poor however you can.
- A form of alms giving.
-The more you give the more you receive.

Eid al-Eitr
- Fast to become closer to God.
- Reminds them how blessed they are to have food, and that others do not.

Haji
- Done once in a life time, at Mecca.
- Done to replenish their connection to God.
- Spiritual Purity
