MACBETH'S STORY BOARD

THE BATTLE

"TILL HE UNSEAMED HIM FROM THE NAVE TO TH' CHOPS

WITCHES

  • Predict Macbeth will be king
  • He will be Thane of Cowsar
  • He will be Thane of Glamis
  • Has made Macbeth power hungry

ALL HAIL THE KING DUNCAN

  • Duncan comes to visit the Macbeth's at the castle
  • Ironic phrases have been said numerous times
  • "This castle hath a pleasant seat"
  • Ironic because he ends up being killed at the castle.
  • So it's not really a pleasant place.

BELL OF DEATH

  • Macbeth starts to have delusions
  • He hears a bell that signifies Duncan's death
  • This death has not occurred yet
  • He also has delusions of the daggers in his hand
  • He is ready to get her dead done.

THE DEATH OF KING DUNCAN

  • Duncan passes out after a long night of drinking.
  • The castle fills with the silence of night.
  • Macbeth is building up courage to do the deed
  • but needs a push in the right direction.
  • Macbeth grows impatient and goes to see what's holding him up

DUNCAN'S DEATH CONTINUED......

  • As she walks quietly down the creaky hallway
  • she notices a shadow coming toward her.
  • Fear shoots up her spine...
  • The shadow gets closer and Lady Macbeth tries to get a hold of herself
  • but can't in time.

CONTINUED...

  • "Who goes there?" the shadow whispers in her direction.
  • "It is I lady Macbeth sir." she notices the figure continue to come to her.
  • "Macbeth??" She said is confusion.

CONTINUED...

  • "No I can't go through with it" Macbeth says in a shaky voice.
  • "Get a hold of yourself Macbeth, man up and get it over with so we can
  • move on!!"
  • Macbeth looks at her with fear for a minute and
  • turns to go into the room of Duncan.

CONTINUED....

  • lady Macbeth goes back to her room and waits.
  • .......
  • Macbeth enters the room where lady Macbeth paces the floor
  • "Come and put your Pjs on to make everything look
  • Less suspicious. We will sleep and act innocent.
Macbeth creeps into the room where Duncan lays motionless. He creeps toward him with dangers tightly clenched in his fists. "Should I do this? Is it really worth it?" Macbeth starts to contemplate In his mind until he imagies himself with his wife being in absolute power. He gets a little heated thinking that the only thing in his way is Duncan laying motionless and he's not doing anything about it, he gets so mad at himself for waiting so long and stabs the dagger again and again into Duncan's chest and storms out with no hesitation.
