Nature and Scope

*This is a pulling and pushing method whereby the internet and technology is used to excuse marketing campaigns.

The Reason for this CHANNEL

* I have chosen the Internet as my marketing campaign strategy.
* Emails, Website, Online Advertising, Blogging and Podcasting, and Social Media marketing.
* The Internet has 6 tools which can be used for marketing a company.
* The main Reason, I have chosen to use this channel is because this is the most used and popular channels being used on a daily bases.

Advantages and Disadvantages

  • Advantages- The internet is like a virus or like an explosive, it travels from one person to another.
  • Disadvantages- Once information is broadcasted it can't be removed or taken back. Publicity given to the company will always carry the company's brand especially the is a positive or negative thing.

Internet as globe research and innovation.

*Technology is transforming rapidly therefore the trends are changing on a daily bases.

*The embedded virtual reality made from recycled material allowing one to see reality.

* Instragrammable fitness was designed to keep healthy and fit

1. Analog divergent is the old school manner of advertising, liking using billboards and flyers/posters.
2. Artisanal education, heart work of foods now being made available to the public, like advance sushi classes.
3. Communal living like the Airbnb culture, and sharing work environments.
4. Sponsorship gaming ,top trending was the pokemon, gaming has hit the mark again.
5. Brand eduction was designed to educate consumers on products and service along with their values.

1. Shoppable Media shows all the new fashion trends on social media like snap chat.

2. Suspended Adulthood is the concept of feeling young and doing young things, like.

3. Preferential pop-up is the latest update of technology like the latest mobiles or new infracted cinema’s.
4. Extreme wellness like the Cape Argus cycling tour and the two oceans Marathon.

5. Retail Kinship consumer are looking for people like them, by creating cultural brands and inshore workshops.

South African Landscape

->The media innovation concept has improved in SA, as we consistently have the latest technology as other countries. the predictions of innovational change has been broadcasted for society to see how far technology will grow in the year 2020.
-> Social media response time has increase by a few hours comparing to last years stats report. The target market will change in the business aspect will change into brand interest and desires for that brand. Brands must work with people to know what their wants and needs are.

*A form of this technology is currently happening as Spar. Cape Quarter has new cash tills where the money is placed into a machine which is safer and give that feel on independence and advancement happening.
*The new designed tech trainer t-shirts which is able to monitor your heart beat.

Channel Planning Medium
-> The internet has a plan, of its own as technology is improving and daily research is being done.
-> This medium can be used effectively because it informs consumers about the newest edition of trends and shows them the future of whats to come.
-> The planning done for this channel is the most challenging because its planned however the outcome is not always accurate, their is a 50 % chance that it could be successful for a short period and fade out faster than the expenditure.
