EUROPEAN VACATION

DAY 1 TRAVELING

  • I am getting there by plane
  • I am leaving in st. Louis and arriving at london
  • The air line im taking express jet airlines and it will cost $1,595.54
  • It will take 2 hours and 22 minutes. It will go through 3:3pm through 6:54
  • The hotel im staying at holiday inn for 89 dollars a night and is 3 star hotel.

DAY 2 LONDON, ENGLAND (BIG BEN)

  • The Big Ben is 155 years old and is 315 feet tall
  • The origin of the big ben is when a building burned called the palace of westminster burned Down In 1834 And The Big Ben Was Created for A New Place For People To Meet.
  • The Palace of Westminster was a meeting place for lords and saints but burned down in 1834 and then they wanted to build tower and a clock for them to meet.
  • The Chunnel is a long railway under the english channel that connects London to Paris. It Cost $55 And The Amount Of Time To Get Across Is 2.5 Hours
  • Some history of the chunnel is that it took $15 billion dollars to make.

DAY 3 PARIS, FRANCE

  • Eiffel tower- it is 986 feet tall
  • It was built because to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of The French Revolution.
  • One interesting fact about it is that temperatures make the tower grow by 6 inches
  • The louvre- the louvre is one of the worlds largest museums in The World And Holds many Famous Art.
  • One of the most famous things there is the Mona Lisa a price less painting and it would take 3 months to see it all

DAY 4 ROME, ITALY

  • Colosseum- the colosseum is a gigantic building where sports and battle took place.
  • It was built because for titus and was for 100 games. It was built by the vespasians.
  • One interesting fact is the 500,000 people died in there.

DAY 5 PARIS, FRANCE

  • Notre dame facts- it is always free to get in every year.
  • 2. It is 130 metters long
  • 3.the bells inside is 13 tonnes.
  • 4. It is 48 meters wide.
  • 5. It is 35 meters high.

DAY 6 PISA, ITALY.

  • The leaning tower of pisa- 1. It is 8 stories high
  • 2. The leaning tower is actual a bell tower
  • 3. The germans used the tower in world war 2 for a look out tower
  • 4. It was being built in 1173 and finally finished in 1372.
  • 5. It is 14,500 tonnes.

DAY 7 GREAT CANAL, VENICE

  • Great canal- 1.it is two and half miles long
  • 2. It is 16 feet deep
  • 3. 170 buildings are on or by the great canal
  • 4.most of the traffic that goes through vince is in the great canal
  • 5. In the 10th century it was center of trading in that area.

DAY 8 GOING BACK HOME

  • After that long journey i am going home
  • I am taking us airways and it cost $1,883 and it would take 16 hours and 51 minutes with one stop.
