ATHLETES FOOT

  • Infection located underneath the foot
  • Caused by fungus

BOILS AND CARBUNCLES

  • A boil is a painful bump filled with pus
  • Carbuncles is a cluster of boils

COLD SORES

  • Also know as oral herpes
  • Located on the lops, mouth or gums

DERMATITIS

  • Gerneral term used for inflammation of the skin

IMPETIGO

  • Highly contagious skin infection
  • Commonly found in infants and children

PSORIASIS

  • Skin redness and irritation
  • White, flaky patches called scales

1ST DEGREE BURNS

  • Most minimal burn damage
  • Affects the superficial (outer) skin area

2ND DEGREE BURN

  • Affects outer layer and underlying skin area
  • Blistering will occur

3RD DEGREE BURN

  • Affects all layers of skin
  • Permanant tissue damage
