THE ROMAN TABLES
BY THOMAS SWILLEY
2.
The third table
One who has confessed a debt or against whom judgment
has been pronounced shall have 30 days to pay it
3.
meaning
if you owe a person money you have thirty days to pay it
I think this law is fair.
4.
Reasons why??
First if you have the money you should pay it
Second if you don't have money trade (cow, goat, etc)
If all of these options are unable to work the get a job.
5.
Work
If the following were unable to work try working the jobs below
Farm work, help at shops, earn fans at the colosseum.
6.
Time
The listed time is a reasonable amount of time to get your debt payed off
30 days (1 month) to earn the money if you work hard and get the job done
7.
THE DEBTER
The person who is receiving the money has earned there
money fair and square is entitled to there money made from the debteie
8.
PUNISHMENT
The person who is in debt is to fall behind the date that is state by the law
is to be punished by a decided date in jail. This punishment is fair because
if this was the case the person in this example is breaking the law.
