ABOUT BEETHOVEN LOSING HIS HEARING

  • From age 26 , Beethoven began to suffer from a Fluctuating,progressive hearing loss (“my hearing grew worse and worse”), which started in his left ear (“in my left ear, with which this illness of my ears had started.

A LITTLE BIT MORE

  • Did you know that Beethoven was deaf? By the time he wrote his ninth symphony (which includes “Ode to Joy”) he couldn’t hear a single note. Think about that for a second. Beethoven’s Ninth symphony is one of the most important classical pieces of all time.

JUST THE LAST BIT OF THIS PRESENTATION

  • Ludwig van Beethoven never got married and did not have children this way there’s no bloodline continuing from the famous composer and his family seven children are born but only three survive childhood Ludwig himself Kasper and Nikolaus from the three brothers only Kasper had a child a son named Karl.
  • The prospect bride of 1810 is thought to have been Therese Malfatti, daughter of one of Beethoven’s doctors, but, like the other marriage projects, this to lapsed, and Beethoven remained a bachelor.

OH YEAH I FORGOT

  • Für Elise in English means for Elise Beethoven wrote this classical piece in 1810. However, it was never discovered and published until 1867.
