  • Looked like a crazy person most of my life
  • I am free of negative behaviors

Discovering the Shifts

1st Shift

  • Break up with your Therapist
  • They treat you like you are broken
  • Take 100% Responsibility for your life
  • Be Effective!

2nd Shift

  • Stop Believing that Drugs will Fix it
  • Drugs are a band-aid that masks the symptoms
  • Don't allow you to grow

3rd Shift

  • Learn Techniques that Guide Your Thinking into Healthy Patterns
  • What the therapist doesn't know

Doing it Wrong You will Experience

  • Fear
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

Doing it Right You will Experience

  • High energy
  • Anticipation of good things
  • Caring about yourself and for yourself
  • Friends that treat you like you matter

4th Shift

  • Be Consistent
  • Each day add something more to your recovery
  • Don't be derailed
  • Commit to yourself

5th Shift

  • Invest in Mentoring
  • Allow yourself to be held accountable
  • Invest in your well-being
