My apartment is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. On the second floor of a building over looking the water.

My apartment is located in Ålesund, Norway. It has a population of 47,199.

My income is 832,515 Norwegian krone, which is equally to $106,635.22 US. This is starting income for architects in Norway.

1. Did you take a finance class in high school?
I took economics and their was some finance in that class.
2. Did you do your own budgeting?
Yes
3. How?
Use quick books and mint.
4. One piece of advice?
Live off of 50% of your income.

5. Experiences starting out on your own?
I wasn’t very good at budgeting. Could have saved a lot more money.
6. Was there a time when to much debt was a problem?
Yes in my 20’s
7. Should a finance class be required?
Yes

8. How are planning for the future?
Save and invest with a plan and own a business.
9. How do you keep track of your finances?
Quick books,mint and Etrade.
10. How do you organize your financial papers?
I do every thing online.

It’s important when you are working on your budget so you don’t spend to much money.

Set goal for retirement age and create a budget based on that.
