HOW THE NEWSBOYS GOT STARTED

• In the early days of the newsboys they were filled with critical barbs and some people thought they relighted too much on lyrical cliches. They all wanted to put their musical abilities and spiritual gifts together and so they created the newsboys, a Christian Rock band.

WHERE THE NEWSBOYS STARTED

• The newsboys started at Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia and came to America because they thought it would be easier to get started and they are huge now.

• In 2009 Peter Furler announced he would leave Newsboys and be replaced with Michael Tait
• Tait performed his first full concert in Highlands Ranch, Colorado ans born again is the first album featuring Michael Tait
