• From '05-15, the percentage of HS students who uses marijuana is 23.1%.
• Over 3,000 teens used marijuana for the first time every day.

• Teens: Brain damage/ brain stops growing
• Adult: Lung damage/cancer

Impacts Externally

• Teens: Lower grades, graduation rates, enjoyment rate
• Adults: Lower income, employment rates, enjoyment rate

Influences

• Assumption of harmfulness (external, negative)
• Music such as heavy metal (external, negative)
• Peer pressure/Popularity (internal, negative)
• Money (internal, semi-positive)
• Other people (internal, positive)
• Advertisement (external, positive)

• Money, Popularity - if people dealt marijuana to other, they get money, and the more money they have the more popular they get
