Never hold a knife inappropriately in the kitchen because you could cut someone by mistake, slip or trip and fall on the knife. If you are going to pass the knife you need to hold the blade not the handle so you don't stab your friend you are handing it to. To hold the knife you need to hold the handle and point the blade out in front of you.
If the stove or pot is in flames you fast call the teacher and put the lid on it and turn of the stove or put the fire blanket on it or if it's big you put the fire out with a fire extinguisher and turn of the gas.
