REFUGEE CAMPS

• The Taliban go into refugee camps and kill people who are accused of being spies.
• The Taliban will show no mercy to children and woman.
• They will cut off woman's hands that have jewelry on them.
• The health in the refugee camps is terrible. There is no proper sewage system.
• Food is very scarce and so is health-care.

WOMAN & GIRLS IN REFUGEE CAMPS

• Woman and girls are treated terrible by the Taliban.
• Woman have to wear burqas or chadors so they can't be seen.
• They can't go any where without a man or boy.
• Woman and girls can't go to school or work.
• Woman can't have jobs to help their families.

BEFORE THE TALIBAN

• Woman could go to work and earn money.
• Girls could go to school.
• Woman and girls could go anywhere without a man and without wearing a burqa.
• The Afghans weren't killed by the Taliban because of their religious belifes.

DURING THE TALIBAN

• Woman couldn't go to work .
• Girls couldn't go to school to get an education.
• Woman and girls had to wear burqas or chadors to go outside.
• Woman and girls could only go outside with a male escort.
• People were killed for their religious beliefs.

AFTER THE TALIBAN

USA'S ROLE IN AFGHANISTAN

• The USA helped train Afghanistan's armies.
• They also helped by building new roads.
• They helped set up Internet network.
• They helped build schools for children.
• They helped by providing security for upcoming elections.

USA'S ROLE IN AFGHANISTAN

• After 2014, the US would not commit to defending Afghanistan from foreign attacks.
• After 2014, the Afghan security and military forces will be responsible for security.
• The US forces will not launch any attacks in Afghanistan.
• US will play a support role to help Afghanistan .
