Teachers feedback on digipak design work so far

I have started with the front cover of my digipak as I have a clear idea of what I want to do and helps with synergy along the process of editing the inside of my digipak and my advertisement.

How am I finding editing on Photoshop?
This is my first using PhotoShop so everything is quite new to me. At times it can get very slow or difficult to use as there are a huge range of things that can be done to an image or text which I haven't familiarized before. However, each day I learn something new and explore different things on Photo Shop to get used to it.

I have received feedback from my teacher on my front and back cover of my digipak so far, outlining the positives and improvements that can be made.

Some of the positive comments my teacher gave me were that the shot types are used well and follow the conventions of a digipak as the artist is promoting themselves through medium/close up shots. The artist brand image is also shown clearly through the use of red lipstick which also links to the red spine, showing a good use of consistency. My teacher also liked the fact that I created my own font and that it was ideal with the other fonts I had used for my tracking list.

An improvement that could be made is the colour edit of the front cover. The photograph has slightly more colour temperature than the back cover. I will use the original image and edit the image on Photo Shop to make it look as similar as the back cover photograph to that the photograph was taken at the same time in the same location.
