• Muslims believe that in the end God will judge humans for their terrestrial actions. Those who have done well will enter Paradise where they will have everlasting bliss. Others will be doomed to hell.

The purpose of the Parables

• Jesus often taught in parables, an ancient Eastern literary genre. Each parable has a different meaning, they are made up stories intended to illustrate a lesson. Aesop told several parables that illustrated the need for hard work, ingenuity and other admirable traits. Jesus' parables also illustrated the lessons that he was trying to teach i.e. that you should be good to others regardless of who they are.

• The literary structure of the parables are very straight forward and easy to understand. They don't necessarily include similes or metaphors but have majority dialogue. Christianity is the main religion (Bible).
