HOW DO WE KNOW ITS HAPPENING

SEA LEVEL RISE

• Sea level rise is caused by the added water from melting land ice and the expansion of sea water as it warms.
• Global sea level rose about 17 centimeters (6.7 inches) in the last century.

GLOBAL TEMPERATURE RISE

• "greenhouse effect"1 — warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space.
• Water vapor
• Carbon dioxide (CO2)
• Methane
• Nitrous oxide
• These are also gases that ruin the atmosphere

HOW DO WE FIX IT

• No more fossil fuel electricity
• Managing forests and agriculture
• Greening transportation
• Wind power
• Biofuels

GREENING TRANSPORTATION

• This one is an easy one
• Instead of cars we can use bicycles to get to close places (although not crazy effects it still helps)
• There are so many useless ways of using transportation with bad fuels, instead reuse cooking oils and also an electric car can help.

BIOFUEL/WINDPOWER

• We can reuse things to fuel our cars
• Turn dead plants into fuels
• Wind power is a really easy and effective way to obtain power in certain areas and regions in the world.
• There are also different varieties of using wind power as energy.

HOW DO WE LIVE WITH IT?

• To adapt we will need to lower the greenhouse gas
• We can also adjust our agriculture to the new pattern of rain and climate change.
• There is also more areas to be spread apart, meaning people will have to scatter around countries instead of living in one city area.
