  • Henry Ford was born on July 30th, 1863.
  • Henry Ford grew up in Dearborn, Michigan on a farm with his mother, father, and four younger siblings.
  • He spent most of his childhood doing schoolwork and chores around the farm.
  • From an early age, Henry Ford was interested in cars.

  • Henry Ford never attended high school or university.
  • He finished his 8th grade education in Springwells Middle School, a one room school.
  • After completing 8th grade, he took a bookkeeping course at a commercial school.

  • Henry Ford was a mechanic for a short amount of time, but then was employed in the engineering field.
