Why do teens do drugs?

• Teens often feel they should do drugs to be cool
• Teens want to do it so they aren't one of the "good" kids
• Teens can often feel so much peer pressure they give in
• Teens can feel that if they don't do it people won't like them anymore
• Teens sometimes will do drugs just to go against what their parents tell them not to do

Teens shouldn't do drugs just to stay cool because your popularity in middle school and high school isn't going to affect the rest of your life. So who cares if you are cool.

2.Teens want to do it so they aren't one of the " good " kids


Teens shouldn't feel like they have to keep up appearances. Drugs could really harm you. Don't do drugs so kids like you.

3.Teens can often feel so much peer pressure they give in

Drugs aren't a good idea no matter the circumstances. self prescribed drugs can really harm you so just say NO.

4.Teens can feel that if they don't do it people won't like them anymore.

Teens shouldn't do drugs just because people won't like them anymore. If they don't like you just because you don't do drugs then they are not your friends.

5.Teens sometimes will do drugs just to go against what their parents tell them not to do them.

Resent is a common word in most teenage households and teens shouldn't do drugs just to resent their parents. that isn't right and for once we will have to admit our parents are just trying to keep us safe and healthy.
