General Expectations for Student Behavior

Respect for Adults

Students must be respectful to the teachers, aides, support personnel, lunch supervisors, administration, and all volunteers.

Respect for Peers

Students will respect the rights of others. No threatening, fighting, bullying, harassment, or other similar behaviors will be tolerated.

Respect School Property

Students will respect all school property. They will treat and use classroom materials respectfully. All textbooks will be covered. Students should not deface any furniture, equipment, or other school property.

Accountability

Students should remain in the classroom or playground area unless given permission to leave by the adult supervising them.

Appropriate Dress

Students should dress appropriately using the guidelines in the student handbook.

Fighting and Inappropriate Language

No pushing, shoving, or fighting of any kind (including play fighting) will be tolerated. In addition, spitting, swearing, and using inappropriate language are also not permitted.

Bringing Extra Items to School

Students should refrain from brining excessive amounts of money, expensive games, and toys to school. Video games, electronic toys, and trading cards are not permitted.

Drugs, Alcohol, and Weapons

Drugs, alcohol, and weapons are never permitted at school, on the school bus, or at any school function. Weapons include, but are not limited to, guns of any sort, toys that resemble weapons, slingshots, chains, box cutters, and anything that can be used to inflict serious bodily injury.
