ALPACA FACTS

  • Their lifespan is an average of 5-10 years
  • They are herbivores. They eat a variety of grasses and shrubs.
  • They are also pseudo ruminates. This means they chew their cud like sheep and cattle. They have a 3 chambered stomach instead of 4
  • They are 3ft tall at the shoulder,up to 5ft at the head
  • They weigh 100 to 200 pounds

CHINCHILLA FACTS

  • They live an average of 10 years
  • They can have 2-6 offspring on average
  • Male chinchillas weigh 17 ounces
  • Female chinchillas weigh 28 ounces
  • Chinchillas are critically endangered
  • Chinchillas bath in volcanic ash

SNOW LEOPARD FACTS

  • Snow leopards are carnivores that feed mostly on mountain sheep,deer,and ibex but also on medium sized birds,marmots,pikas,hares and other small mammals.
  • Snow leopards can live 15-20 years in the wild.
  • Snow leopards are shy,elusive cats known for their solarity nature.
