PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Writing Time and Structure
Write a scene that takes place within a constrained amount of time. Some activity that has a clear start and ending. Waiting in a line, getting a haircut, planning a party
Divide a piece of paper into three sections. Write Morning/Noon/Night on each section, then write a scene that fits into one of the spaces and attends to that time of day. Pass the paper to someone else to write the next time.
Life After Life:
write a scene in which a character dies due to an external circumstance. Then rewrite the same scene but this time allow the character to live and escape whatever conditions caused the initial demise.
