PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Facing a Crisis
discipline of regularly setting Jesus before you
Why?
- Identify the problem you are facing.
- Identify what the Scriptures have to say about it.
- Identify if you are the sort of person who will do what the Scriptures tell you to do.
Romans 15:13
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.
For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
Romans 15:4-5
3. TRUST
No matter what the crisis the best way out is always obedience
Galatians 6:9-10
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Romans 12:21
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
