• During the german depression unemployment was at an all time high.
• The government seemed unable to govern, and the country couldnt find its balance.
• Paper money meant next to nothing. The cases and baskets hold the payroll for a small business

• The stock markets collapsed on wall street on Wall Street on Tuesday, October 29, 1929 .
• The german economy was especially vulnerable since it was built upon foreign capital. Mostly loans from America.

ARYAN RACE

• Hitlers master race
• In ww2 he wanted his master race to be the only race
• Racist man, to the jews especially

• Believed the aryan race was the superior race
• Didnt want them to have relations with any other race
• Thought every other race was scum
• Didnt want the german blood to become tainted

HITLER'S EARLY YEARS

• Born April 20th 1889 in Braunau am Inn, Austria.
• Parents: Alois Hitler & Maria Anna Schickeigruber.
• Born out of wedlock, parents didnt get married until he was 5.
• He was baptized as a catholic.

LINZ

• Moved to linz in 1898
• Wanted to pursue his dream of being an artist.
• Convinced his mom after fathers death.
• Took an entrance exam to the Vienna Academy of the Arts.
• Mother died in December 1908 of breast cancer.

VIENNA

• Moved to Vienna in early 1908. Hoping to get accepted
• Lived there from Feb. 1908 - May 1913
• Became homeless a year after arriving

• He believed Germans citizens should be devoted to thier nation
• Nazism began in 1919 started as a small gang
• Hitler joined the gang in 1919
• Rasied to leadership through his speeches

• After the end of WWl, Adolf Hitler joined the Nazi party.
• He was the seventh member to join, then later became their leader.
• Hitler was very talented at giving speeches. Which attracted many people to follow him.

• Unfortunately, Hitler went to jail for trying to overthrow the government.
• During his time in jail he wrote Mein Kampf ("My Struggle").
• It held his political beliefs and how he could have power over the government

• In 1932, six million unemployed germans fit right together in hitlers ideas.
• He later became Chancellor of Germany
• Then in 1934 he became Dictator which he later began WWll
