Electromagnetic energy

This energy moves in waves.this type of energy is essential in life to all living beings.

ex- visible light, radio waves, x-rays, UV, etc.

Electrical energy

This energy is made(produced) by a flow of electrons

Ex-any sort of battery

Mechanical energy

This energy is produced by moving objects

Ex-windmills, peddling a bicycle , paddling a boat, etc.

Sound energy moves in waves of vibration.

Ex-anything you can hear

Thermal energy

Thermal energy is produced from the other forms of energy. Heat is made when two particles collide. Can happen because of friction.

Ex-oven, microwave, etc.

Chemical energy

This energy is produced by a chemical reaction.

Ex-photosynthesis

Nuclear or Atomic energy

This energy is given off by the splitting of the nucleus or atom.
Atoms are tiny particles that make up all matter.
