PARTS OF A CIRCLE

• The circumference is the whole outside of the circle
• The diameter is the line going through the middle and out
• The radius is the line going to the middle but stopping there

• An arc is a part of the circumference
• A sector is a part of the circle that goes to the middle and comes out in a different direction
• A segment is the part of a circle in between a chord and the circumference
• A chord is a line that goes from one part of a circle to the other(not through the middle)

• You can find the circumference of a circle by doing the sum diameter /pi
