SATELLITES
Placed in orbit around the earth, moon or another planet to collect data and communication
Have antennas that send and receive information to and from earth.
Distance from earth effects the strength of the signal and where it can transmit and receive.
3.
TELESCOPES
Telescopes are instruments used to see far away objects of interest.
The basic idea is to collect a lot of light and enlarge it.
They ate classified as either reflector, refractor, or catadioptric.
(Based on weather they use mirrors and/or lenses to view object)
New planets, stars and celestial bodies have been found by using them.

ASTEROIDS
Though they may be small, asteroids are a threat to our Earth and the human race.
Asteroids come in all different shapes and sizes.
They have no atmospheres, but can be large enough to exert a gravitational pull
Almost all asteroids fall into three different classes based on how they were made.
Scientists are still exploring and evaluating asteroids today.
