Test Anxiety manifests itself in two ways, physical symptoms and emotional symptoms

PHYSIAL SYMPTOMS:

  • Rapid breathing
  • Tense Muscles
  • Sweaty palms
  • Butterflies in stomach
  • Dizziness

  • Anxious

  • Frustrated
  • Depressed

ALLIEVIATE TEST ANXIETY PRIORS

  • Be prepared
  • Choose a comfortable location
  • Take a small snack
  • Allow yourself plenty of time
  • Strive for a relaxed state of concentration

ALLEVIATE TEST ANXIETY DURING TEST

  • Read the direction carefully
  • Budget your test taking time
  • Don't panic
  • Change your positions to relax
  • Skip question and come to it
