MEXICAN FOOD

  • Tacos are one of the most common Mexican food you'll find anywhere
  • Mexicans also love to eat spicy food or spicy salsa/sauce.
  • A popular mexican drink is ochata(mexican version of a milkshake)
  • Red rice or rice with corn is also a traditional mexican food
  • It is also comman to eat mexican food with tortillas

MARRIAGE

  • It is vary common for man to ask woman's father for her hand in marriage
  • But organized marriage is not uncommon
  • Based on Mexican tradition, the father of the groom pays for the wedding
  • The traditional color to wear at a wedding is white
  • It is also traditional for the father of the bride to give a speech

TRADITIONS/CELEBRATIONS

  • "CINCO DE MAYO" is a day where we celebrate mexican indapendance
  • "DAY OF THE DEAD" is when we celebrate the people who have left this world and gone to the next
  • "QUINCENEIRA" the celebration when a girl turns into a woman
  • "DIA DEL GRITO" the day when family and friends get togother and have fun and then sceam
  • "BIRTHDAYS" on birthdays we celabrate with a piñata and smash birthday persons into a cake

RELIGION

  • A huge part of the Mexican population is catholic
  • Most catholics wear a rosary
  • It is customary to go to church on Sunday
  • It is also customary to pray a number of times throughout the day
  • Most Catholics are vary strict with their beliefs

SPORTS

  • Most mexicans play soccer
  • Its taken vary seriously to play it
  • It is also a game of skill
  • People like to dress up and paint their face with the color of thier favorite team
  • Its a vary fun game
