RHESUS DISEASE

DESCRIPTION

• Occurs during pregancy
• When there is a incompatibility
• Between the blood types of the mother and baby

CAUSES

• happens when the mother is pregnant
• And the mother have RH NEGATIVE Blood
• And the baby has RH POSITIVE Blood

SYMPTOMS

• Yellowing skin
• Whites of the eyes
• Low muscle tone

DETECTION

• Testing the presence of RH positive
• In the mothers blood
• Ultrasound

TREATMENTS

• Blood transfusion of red blood cells
• Into the babys circulations
• Or have early delivery
