CORN AND SOY

  • Corn takes a lot of nitrogen from the fields, while soy helps put nitrogen and other nutritious back into the soil.
  • So to keep the balance farmers alternate corn and soy in their fields. Some farmers alternate every other year and some even do every 3 years

CORN AND SOY

  • Having to alternate between corn and soy gives Minnesotas a wider variety of foods and livestock feed.
  • It also has grown the economy, seed sellers have to sell corn and soy to keep up with other sellers.
  • Also with growing the economy, it makes places like Agco make farm equipment for corn and soy farming
