In Honduras, Christmas is celebrated at the stroke of midnight on the 24th of December.

Christmas in Honduras is a special and emotional occasion. It's a very important occasion to spend with the family.

Right before midnight, the family will gather and pray, and usually read some passages of the bible about the birth of Jesus Christ. Once finished they will start hugging and singing christmas songs like "Feliz Navidad!"

Just before midnight, the family will gather and pray together, which may include the reading of passages of the Bible that narrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Once the prayer is finished, the family members engage in a round of hearty hugs and wish each other "¡Feliz Navidad!".
