WHO WE ARE?

• Hello, our names are Sofi and Nico
• We are 17 years old
• We are from Ireland , from a little town called Dundalk situated in the north of Ireland, 50 minutes away from Dublin
• We go to a school called Dundalk grammar school
• It is a boys and girls school ( from 10 to 18 years old)

ADOLESCENTS SMOKING

• We wanted to talk about a problem that is getting every time more and more serious in our country

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

• Did you know that IRISH teenagers are among the world's worst for starting to smoke too young?
• In Dundalk Grammar school , in our class 13 pupils out of 30 smoke at a very high level and 20 out of 30 only in party's.

How serious it is?

WHAT DO WE WANT TO ACHIEVE ?

• We want to improve this problem with this solutions:

SOLUTIONS

• Putting fines when an adolescent is caught smoking in the street.
• Having emotive advertisements in the tv , streets , web pages ..etc.. , against under-aged smoking.
• Publishing a campaign in Facebook with strong videos against it.
• Taking people that started smoking at a young age and after quited it , to schools to aware the people of the changes in their life
• Having courses in the schools talking about smoking and benefits of stopping.

It is not possible to eliminate the problem but it is possible to reduce it .
