Definition

• a form of team game played in North America with an oval ball on a field marked out as a gridiron.

Players

• 11players on field for each team.
• 55 players on one team
• Players can play offense/defense or both

Scoring

• Safety = 2 points
• Field Goal = 3 points
• Touchdown = 6 points
• Extra Point = 1 point

Time

• 15 minutes for one quarter
• Four quarters total
• Overtime can happen if the game is tied at the end of quarter 4.
• Overtime is an extra 10 minutes
