- 1927- Marries Miss. Ruth M. Butler
- They had a son, Charles.
- 1934- after 7 years they divorced
- October 18, 1936 Harris makes cover- Flash Newspicture Magazine.
- 1939- Harris studios opened
CONT. TIMELINE
- 1940- sent to get information on conditions for black troops in training.
- 1943-sent to Detroit for Race Riots.
- 1944- Teenie remarries & Elsa Lee Elliot now his wife; four children.
- 1953- closes his studio due to death of his mother.
