PREVENTION&SYMPTOMS

  • Symptoms:severe headache, joint pain, eye pain.
  • Prevention: dress is protective clothing when in the mosquito prevalent areas,
  • Use bug spray.

LYME DISEASE

LYME DISEASE IS A VECTOR BORNE DISEASE SPREAD BY TICKS AND DEER.

LYME DISEASE

  • When bitten by an infected tick, the area which was bitten will develop a target-like rash
  • The tick will have buried its head in the epidermis of the subject.
  • The tick can be removed using tweezers, or the subject needs to see a specialist.

LYME DISEASE

  • Lyme disease is prevalent in New York State, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
  • This is because of their climates.
