MOVEMENT

  • Red foxes have four legs with claws.
  • Red foxes have pointy ears, large snouts, and a long fluffy tail.
  • The fir on red foxes are sometimes a yellowish.
  • Usually a deep reddish brown with pale gray underneath.
  • They have a great sense of smell, and have great hearing

REPRODUCTION

  • Red foxes can have up to13 live kits.
  • The average number of kits a fox can have is 5.

SENSITIVITY

  • They adapt well to Suburban and Rural communities.
  • Large predators were pushed away from human development.
  • The red foxes took advantage of the changed habitat.

NUTRITION

  • They eat voles, rabbits, hares.
  • Also small animals such as birds.
  • Red foxes also eat fruits, beetles, and earthworms.

EXCRETION

  • Red foxes exhale carbon dioxide.
  • They get rid of digestive wastes.

RESPIRATION

  • Red foxes live out of water so therefore they have lungs to breathe.
  • They breathe in oxygen for the Earth's hemisphere

GROWTH

  • The first stage to being a red fox starts with a first stage kit.
  • Then, a half grown fox.
  • After that, they are a fully grown fox to find a mate and produce babies.
