What is globalization?

Globalization means that the world is getting closer from a political, economic, religious, social, intellectual, and artistic view.

  • People can now see news and information throughout the world via the Internet.
  • This affects people on a social level because it impacts people's social lives.

ENTERTAINMENT

  • People can now enjoy things like music from other countries or Bollywood movies from India without heaving to go to that country.
  • This affects people on an artistic level because music and movies are part of performing arts.

COMPANIES

  • Here are multiple companies have become global, like McDonalds.
  • People from countries all over the world can now buy things from different countries in their local stores.
  • This affects people on an economic level because they use money to buy stuff.

  • When people travel, they become exposed to many new ideas, which could affect how they think or how they view things.
  • This affects people from an intellectual view because new experiences can change their opinions and create new ideas.

COLONIZATION

  • As Europe began to spread their culture to other countries, Christianity also spread.
  • This affected people religiously because Christianity spread and Christianity is a form of religion.

POLITICS

  • Countries need to communicate with each other to work out agreements like trade.
  • This affects people from a political level because countries collaborating with each other has to do with politics.
