HISTORY

• Known as white wolf or polar wolf
• Native to the queen Elizabeth islands
• Pack sizes between 5-8
• Uses strategies to kill prey

HABITAT

• Alaska/Canada/Greenland
• Can stand cold temperatures
• Don’t mind when the sky is dark for both day and night

SIZE

• Small/light
• Male 34-46 kg
• Female 36-38 kg

APPEARANCE

• White coat
• Shorter ears
• Nose distinguishes them from other subspecies of Canis lupus

Arctic wolves are not threatened like other subspecies of grey wolves
