Summary of Main Events-
Annabel Greene is a girl who has everything. She's a model, top student, popular cheerleader, and prom queen with friends. Then a rumor has been spread that made Annabel's life awful and broke trust with her friends. Not until she met a boy, Owen Armstrong, who she totally thought was different. Can Annabel really tell the truth, even if it hurts?

THEME

  • Don't hold in the truth, even if it hurts.
  • Do the right thing, just rephrase and redirect.
  • The message that the author is trying to send out is, don't hold the truth in, even if it hurts. Just do the right thing and you'll feel better, relieved.

2 meaningful quotes-
"R and R" I chose this one because it means rephrase and redirect. It represents the book by thinking about the right thing and actually doing it. Like Annabel thinking of saying the right things (the truth) and doing what is needed.

- "Because the truth sometimes hurts"
I chose this one because when Annabel tells the
truth, it did hurt. It represents the book since many
secrets were kept hidden and it hurt. The story can all be a secret …

The type of people that would want to read this book are people who love drama, romance, and realistic fiction. Just a reminder that this is a teens book, NOT an adults book. It's from the library, calm down.

FAVORITE SCENE FROM THE BOOK

  • My favorite scene was when Annabels sister, Kirsten, defended her from Sophie. Since Sophie was being mean to Annabel , and a total brat.

3 QUESTIONS FOR THE AUTHOR

  • How do you come up with such amazing descriptive books?!
  • Did any of the parts from the book happen in your life?
  • Is that how you come up with some parts?^
