WHAT IS TASTE PERCEPTION?

• We tested the effect color has on the taste of a certain flavor of juice

HYPOTHESIS

• The color will not effect the taste that the subjects experience

EXPERIMENT

• 3 cups of apple juice
• Labeled them 1,2,3
• Cup 1- dyed red
• Cup 2- dyed blue
• Cup 3- remained the original color

• Subjects were asked to taste each cup
• Then, say which flavor they tasted

• Subjects were from the ages 17-56
• Both male and female
• Total of 10 participants

CONCLUSION

• The different colors did not effect the taste
• All subjects knew each cup was Apple juice
• Our hypothesis was correct

FUTURE EXPERIMENTS

• In the future, we would use different flavors
• And also use younger subjects
