• Though telephones have changed very much, people still us them constantly.

• He was an Engineer and industrialist
• invented an air-brake system for railroads
• Even far in the future, railroads are still necessary for transportation.

Thaddeus Lowe

• He was an aeronaut, scientist and inventor
• invented the ice machine, the basis of the refrigerator
• This produces any cold food we eat, and preserved our food.

Josephine Cochrane

• She was an inventor
• developed the automatic dishwasher.
• Nowadays, nearly every household has one.

Honestly I don’t really think about what life would be like without the lightbulb. The lightbulb, created in the 19th century, is so involved with daily life, I don’t think about it being invited. Out of all the inventions I really think the lightbulb has the greatest impact on my life. Every day when I wake up, I turn on the lightbulb. Every home, store, school, or building has lights in it.
