Moses was told by God to set his people free so he told the Pharaoh but he did not.When he didn't let his people go God sent 10 plagues over Egypt's land, crops were destroyed ,buildings as well ,and disease but the Pharaoh still refused to let his people go

Finally God sent and angel to kill every firstborn in Egypt and would leave you alone if you were Jewish. Weeping over his dead son the Pharaoh said you may take your people. When Moses was leaving with his people the Pharaoh changed his mind and attacked the Hebrews. So Moses raised the Red Sea so the Hebrews could cross to the other side and when they were across Moses flooded the Egyptian army after them.

Moses lead the Hebrews through the jungle for 40 years and one day he went to Mount Sinai and was meditating and God gave him 2 stone tablets with 10 laws which formed the basic laws of Judaism. The tablet were called the ten Camandments
