PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE LIFE CYCLE OF A FROG

EGGS

  • The frog starts as an egg.
  • The egg hatches in 6-21 days.
  • They are laid In calm water so they do not flow away.

TADPOLE

  • The tadpole eats it's yolk which is its gut.
  • 7-10 weeks they will eat algae.
  • Tadpoles look like a blob with a tail.

TADPOLE WITH LEGS

  • After 9-6 weeks the tadpole will sprout 4 small legs.
  • The tadpole will now eat small bugs.
  • After 9 weeks the tadpole looks like a tiny frog with a tail.

FROGLET

  • By 12 weeks the tadpole looks like a frog with a tail.
  • The froglet can now leave the water.
  • The froglet is now able to reproduce.

FROG

  • The frog will spend the rest of his/her life trying to reproduce.
  • At this point the process will start all over again.
