  • 74% of students who wear uniforms say that they are pesky and unnecessary
  • There are both sides to an argument
  • Some people claim that uniforms are beneficial because they allow the school to look organized

DOWNSIDES TO UNIFORMS

  • Uniforms stifle the students' individuality, creativity, and freedom.
  • Uniforms are very expensive ($50-$100).
  • Uniforms require a lot of care and are a hassle.
  • Uniforms are very uncomfortable.

I BELIEVE UNIFORMS SHOULD NOT BE NECESSARY

  • We should ban uniforms because they act as a blockage of freedom, uniqueness, and comfort.
  • Uniforms are boring
  • Uniforms cause us to conform to the norms.
  • Uniforms are pesky and uncomfortable.

MOST UNIFORMS INTERFERE WITH THE WEATHER

  • Girls wear skirts and a polo
  • Boys wear oxford shirts and dress pants
  • The uniforms can be uncomfortable and a hassle when the weather is too cold or hot.

An extra expense
Some families cannot afford a proper uniform for their child/children.
Why waste money when you can save by letting the students wear what they wish?

SOLUTIONS

  • Banning uniforms would take one of the finances off the family.
  • Banning them would give students back their style, individuality, and comfort.
