HISTORY OF PIZZA

• Founded in 600 BC by a Greek settlement called Naples
• Neapolitans required inexpensive food so they would get flatbread and put toppings on it
• In 1889 King Umberto I and Queen Margherita visited Naples in 1889. Legend has it that the traveling pair became bored with their steady diet of French haute cuisine and asked for an assortment of pizzas from the city’s Pizzeria Brandi . The variety the queen enjoyed most was called pizza mozzarella, a pie topped with the soft white cheese, red tomatoes and green basil.

STEPS TO MAKE A PIZZA

• First you get the pizza crust out
• Then you get the pizza sauce out and evenly spread it over the crust
• Third you put the cheese over the pizza sauce evenly so you don't have like cheese balls
• Fourth you put your toppings: pepperoni sausage ham peppers 3 cheese etc.
• Next you preheat the oven to 400 or however your oven works then put the pizza in the oven from 15-17 minutes
• Finally you pull the pizza out of the oven let it cool down the enjoy
