HPV

THE THREE W'S

  • Where- it is most common in the United States.
  • What- the ages it most effects is 15-24.
  • Who- it can happen to both genders, male and female.

DISEASE CONTRACTED

  • The main why you can get HPV is through sexual contact between two humans either by the anal, mouth, vaginal.
  • Another way is if the mother has it and then she gives birth, the baby can come in contact with the HPV.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

  • You might have a dry cough.
  • Abdominal pain.
  • Gain sores and swelling in areas where you shouldn't.
  • You also might have a really bad fever.

COMPLICATIONS

  • Cancer in the anus, mouth, and penis.

TREATMENT

  • There is no cure for HPV so you are stuck with it.
  • When you are young you can get a vaccine to help prevent getting HPV later in life.

PREVENTABLE

  • Don't have any sex.
  • Vaccine when you are 11-12.
  • Also you can use condoms to protect against some area.
