A is for Augustus Caesar

• He ruled from 27 BC to 14 AD. :)
• When Augustus was emperor, he set up a mail service and built roads. :)
• He was the first emperor of Rome. :)

B is for Buildings

• There are 6 types of houses and 3 different types of formations of buildings. :)
• The 6 are Stilt, Inuit Igloo, Sioux Tepee, Ghanaian House with mud decorations, Bedouin Tent, and the Musgum Hut in Cameroon. :)
• They are an Arch, a Bridge, and a Vault. :)

• They are used in mythology. :)
• They can be told in myths and tall tales. :)

• Rome is its capital. :)

K is for Kings

• They are people that are usually in charge of kingdoms and countries and possibly states. :)
• The father is considered the "king" of the household. :)

L is for Lararium

• Each household has a special place for a shrine called the Lararium. :)
• The Romans believed that the dead were still important members of the household. :)

M is for Mud-Brick

• Build houses with mud-brick and it keeps out the rain. :)
• It can also include mud decorations like on a Musgum Hut in Cameroon. :)

N is for Nero

• He ruled the years 54-68 A.D. :)
• He created his own park. :)
• Wanted to be an actor and a poet. :)

O is for Olive Oil

• Olive Oil was established by Rome, Italy. :)
• You can use it for food and cooking. :)

P is for Public Square

• The Forum was a public square in the city of Rome. :)
• Public Squares are you know public and are usually large malls and shops and stores like Starbucks. :)

Q is for Queens

• They are the wives of Kings. :)
• They can possibly be in charge of kingdoms and countries and possibly states too. :)

R is for Roman Numerals

• People today still use roman numerals. :)
• But today we use Arabic numbers. :)
• There are over a million roman numerals in the world. :)

S is for Status Quo

• It is Latin word for "the existing condition". :)

T is for Trajan

• It is in the latin alphabet for the letter "V". :)

V is for Valens

W is for Wonderful

• They had a great art and structures. :)
• They have large plazas and the structures have lasted till today. :)

X is for #10

• The roman numeral "X" stands for the number 10. :)
• Any numeral in front stands for the numbers 1-9. :)

• It is latin for the letter "Y". :)
