GEOHAZARDS

• The geohazard impact zones defined in a geohazard assessment process can either be avoided or, where this is not possible, will inform the engineering.
• China is all too often in the news as a result of geohazards that have a severe impact on lives and livelihoods. ... effective strategies to mitigate against the negative consequences of these geohazards.

FLOODS

• Floods in China are very common.
• Especially in the north and central part of China.
• There was a recent flood this summer, that killed 150 people.
• Many businesses and farms have been destroyed.

OUR SMART TECH DESIGN

• The elements of design are components that are used in visual designs.
• The smart technology we have chosen is a inflatable raincoat.
• When the person is caught in a flood they can pull the string to inflate
• Flashing lights will appear to make sure the helicopter can see them.
• This raincoat will be fit for adults and have a bright color.

FIBERS, FABRICS, & FINISHES

• Fibers are very thin and long. They resemble hair.
• They're spun around to make yarn.
• Fabrics are made from yarn that is dyed.
• Then its woven together.
• Finishes are to improve to feel and appearance of fabric.
• Different types include: drying and stretching, shrinking, cutting, and brushing.

CHINESE CULTURE

• Their religion is atheist.
• Mandarin is the top language
• Rice is apart of their diet and it help grow their society
