  • The sun is very large. The sun is approximately 432,288 miles long.

WHAT MAKES UP THE SUN?

  • The sun is mostly made up of hydrogen. But it’s also made up of carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and oxygen

WHO DISCOVERED THE SUN?

  • The first person to discover the sun was a man named Galileo Galilei back in the 1600’s.

ANY RECENT DISCOVERIES?

  • No there has not been any recent discoveries about the sun. The last discovery was Dec 6, 2007 when they found out the sun was bristling with powerful x-ray jets.
