He was born on December 13th, 1957 in Brooklyn NY
He studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute
He worked as an FDNY Firefighter before his breakout film role in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs.
After the 9/11 terrorist attacks he rejoined his d engine for a week helping to sift through the rubble to find survivors and bodies.
To me Steve Buscemi gives the image of a brave caring person who will help others if they need it.
I hope to be as willing to help others as he is one day.
If I were his agent I would recommend that he not do any more Adam Sandler movies
